Privacy Policy

Buildr is a contractor productivity application for managing work such as leads, customers, estimates, projects, tasks, documents, time entries, and jobsite activity. This policy explains the information Buildr may process and how it is used.
Information you provide
Buildr may process account and company information such as your name, email address, company name, company logo, and account role. Information entered into Buildr may also include customer contact details, project addresses, estimates, invoices, tasks, notes, photos, documents, schedules, and other job-related records.
Location and time tracking
When you choose to enable automatic GPS time tracking, Buildr may access precise device location, including in the background, to determine arrival at and departure from GPS-enabled jobsites and create jobsite visit or time records. Background location is optional and is not used for advertising.
Buildr Assistant and AI features
If you use Buildr Assistant, the text and job context you submit may be sent to an AI service provider so the requested response can be generated. Do not submit information to the assistant that you do not want processed for that purpose. AI suggestions should be checked against measurements, supplier quotes, applicable codes, and professional judgment.
Technical information
Buildr and its service providers may process technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as device or browser information, authentication data, request logs, error information, and basic usage events.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate users, provide Buildr features, store and synchronize contractor records, generate requested documents or AI responses, support GPS time tracking when enabled, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and provide customer support.
Service providers and sharing
Buildr uses service providers for hosting, authentication, database storage, deployment, and optional AI functionality. Information may be processed by those providers only as needed to deliver Buildr. Buildr does not sell personal information or location data to advertisers.
Data retention and account deletion
Buildr retains account and workspace information while it is needed to provide the service, subject to legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or record-retention requirements. If you request deletion of your Buildr account, we will delete the account and associated personal data that we are not required to retain.

Security
Buildr uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect account and workspace data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as Buildr changes. The effective date above will be updated when material revisions are published.
